Okinawa Memories Initiative
Project Description
Hub of information for an undergraduate history and research project. Used to coordinate events, highlight scholar’s work, and provide info to the public.
My Role
Worked closely with the project to develop a wordpress website following established design guidelines. Crafted event media, managed mailing network, and assisted in running digital events.
Reading Room: After Archives
Project Description
A student group art exhibition exploring the nature of archives. What does it mean to archive data, pieces of media, or ideas?
My Role
Work with other students to design, create, and distribute event flyers for the exhibit.
The Davenport Jail
Project Description
Public history site in Davenport, California. Currently owned and maintained by the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History.
My Role
Collaborated with public historians and humanities students to develop a logo using the Adobe Digital Creative Suite. Improved upon designs using recommendations, and supported community outreach programs.
The Humanities Institute
Description
A humanities project run through UC, Santa Cruz focused on creating new and interesting opportunities in the humanities, for scholars.
My Role
Developed event media and coordinated with supervisors to create the ‘Humanities Happy Hour’ series.
